Yesterday shortly before this thread was started, Onuoha emailed me through 8052.com with the same set of questions. Actually, he sent it three times. Perhaps it was foolish, but I replied to him directly, giving him suggestions about data sheets from the vendors, the bible, tutorials, searching the site for other discussions of projects similar to his...basically suggested he's got some reading to do and pointed towards where he could find it.

I asked him about his experience programming and suggested assembler as a starting point to aid his familiarization with the 8051 before moving on to C or other language.

So far I've received no response from him, either acknowledgement that he received my reply or answers to my questions. I'm wondering if we've got another hit and run poster.
