#105230 - Connecting to power |
Hello
Im doing a device, to test a DS90C031 and DS90C032 based circuits. I thought to connect to the ports of microcontroller the inputs and outputs and send data and compare to see if the circuits are good. The one thing that troubles me, is connecting the circuits to +5V(Vcc). It could be done with switch. So you would connect the circuits to device with cables, switch power on, do the test and then switch power off, to replace the circuit with next one. But since the data signals are on same connector as the Vcc and GND and i have some ports on controller free, i thought the controller could switch circuit On and Off. So the only thing one would need to do is press the Test button. I dont have much experiences in that, so my question is, how could this be done? I thought of a relay, but im interested in other posibilites also. Any suggestions would be really helpful. And sory for all mistakes in message. Im not so good in english anymore. Thanks Andrej |
