That is simply not true. Any MOSFET has 'essentially zero' gate current when it is in a steady state. Dear Rob, I think what Erik wanted to tell is, that many of these MOSFETs need a rather high gate source voltage to fully turn-on. More than a 5V supply might be able to deliver. Regards, Kai |
