Hi

I'm a final year electronic eng. student. My project involves using an 8051 ucontroller (ADuC812).

My problem is that I need to express three 12 bit values as ratios of each other in assembler.

The values are in HEX. I need the division to produce decimal point type accuracy.

Example of the problem
1B3H/104H = 1H
(no decimal point)
I'm not sure how to aproach the problem.
whether to convert to decimal and then divide or maybe try something in binary. Any pointers would be appreciated.
