Why is the number HEX ? How is it stored ? Convertiing it is easy. Again search for it here - there was even some code posted.
Look back at my thread about 32 bit division from about 18 months ago, and then you can deconvolve how I did it. THE book on basic algorithms like this is probably Donald Knuth's book It is the classic. Steve |
