You could try Flight Electronics they do a x286 board, but I'd guess it's expensive, and probably like any board using a fairly powerful cpu be programmed via a serial port with a monitor program on board.
If you're starting out the I'd strongly suggest that you avoid any x86 products and start with something like the 8051/HC11 (what HC11 on 8052.com?). Have a look at www.pjrc.com, he has a 8051 board with a monitor, this is driven via a serial link to a PC, but this is a much better way to start, you can add you're own keypad/Led displays later, and learn a hell of a lot more by doing so. |
