The 8255 is usually memory mapped into data memory space on the 8052. The 8255 is addressed with the @DPTR instructions.
The 8255 requires an initialisation word to set its input/output charadteristics. Its not easy for a beginner to design their own control word. Intel's app note has a useful table of output combinations. Steve |
