#107570 - Creating your own I2C slave |
Hi all
I want to make my own I2C slave device using a Phillips LPC9xx, while this seems relatively straightforward (thanks to the Code Architect) my question is. Are there any assigned I2C addresses for private use, much the same way the IP addresses have blocks assigned for internal use where the devices never see another networks private addresses? Obviously I could simply make up an address as long as it didn't conflict with the other I2C devices in use on the PCB, regardless as to whether it was officially assigned to some other I2C component that I am not using, but I would like to do it properly if possible.
