I disagree, I have yet to see a "jumpers or similar" that has not cost several service calls = 1000s of $. Erik Very good point. It would also be fine to have the address configuration pins hardwired in the target design. My idea was just not to fix the user to a single address, in the event more than one of these devices needs to be used in a system, or by some chance you cannot manage to avoid conflict with another non-configurable device. --Sasha Jevtic |
