Hello,

Ive found some of the 8279 on some old pcb's.

Now id like to use those keyboard/led display controller ic's to use for one of my project.

But i couldn't find a suitable PDF or any other type of documentation about that chip. Google and Altavista cant provide a product datasheet about the 8279. Maybe does one of you have any information regarding that chip?

Or should i use something different for making keymatrices and 7seg led displays?
