#11019 - RE: speech with microcontrollers |
Hello All,
Thanks for all the information and help. I was told that the MSM6588 from OKI semiconductor is popular in the telcom sector here in India, it seems to have recording and play back facility, another memory chip has to be added, but I dont require this much of a sophastication. Steve, Thanks for the tip, I went to the winbond site. Sanjeev, Is SPO-256 AL2 still available here in India? Matt, Please send the .wav files if it is possible, I was planning to use a PIC with built in 10 bit PWM, if the allophones could be converted to constants and sent through the PWM pin, but probably this will be too much for a micro with 8K memory. Regards, John. |
