I've had to do just this in the last few weeks, I used a commercial adaptor which cost me UK £15, there is no difference in the interfaces, or the pinouts, the 2.5" just includes the power supply with the normal IDE pins, have a look at the various HDD manufacturers site for the actual pinouts.
