i have build a cable it is very easy.
The most pins have exactly the same
functions.
PC HDD Cable to 2.5 HDD Drive
Pins 1 to 40 to Pins 1 to 40
Pin 20 is not present at HDD Drive
The last 3 pins are powersupply 5V.
41,42 = +5V
43 = GND

PIN 38 = /IDE_CS1 (select 3F6-3F7)
PIN 39 = /aktiv (led driver)

PIN 41 = +5V (logic)
PIN 42 = +5V (motor)
PIN 43 = GND
PIN 44 = /Type out (0=ATA)

PIN 44 not connected to PC ATA 40.

My Laptop is brocken for 2 years and i had the same problem.
