The point was wise choice of referance will save you from fractional math in the uP.
Not that 4.096 would be a good choice for him. Just that there are 2.048 V and 4.096 ref as well as 2,4,and 5 volt ones.or, getting an adjustable one. The right reference can save a multiplcation or division when scale from A/D counts to the final units. Now ironicly enough I need to get my A/D to work. |
