#11504 - RE: Keil with Paulmon |
Hi Luis,
I must admit, that no Windows-IDE available when I started with Keil. So I must read the manuals, whenever things not happen than expected. Now I'm fit to do anything on the command line and miss never the Windows-IDE. Also most of my friends use the command line and write make files for any new project. Yes, the Windos-IDE was easier for beginners. But it can carry the danger, that no motivation to get more knowledge about the software developing process. Thus it can prevent you from writing programs more compact, fast and reliable. So my suggestion, reading the manuals was not a fault also on using the Windows-IDE. Peter P.S.: I found, there is a good support from Keil, good and fast answers and also a forum on the Keil web. |
