#11520 - RE: Compiler IDE |
There is a tendency to concentrate on the IDE which I reist. I know of no compiler maker that can make an editor that even comes close to CodeWright (btw I miss Brief, this is a grand example of my statement, when Borland could not make programmers use their IDE editor, they bought and killed Brief.)
I, personally, believe that you buy the assembler/compiler to get the best such (Keil in 51/251 shops, HiTech in 51/XA shops). Then you buy the best editor you can find (CodeWright) and finally you chicken out and instead if spending 1000s on an ICE you buy a Ceibo and get the best value for money. Have a good weekend Erik |
