i use x51 family ATMEL make.
so everyone has to buy their own ICE ? for those derivative, yes you must buy/beg/borrow an ICE. Should you decide to buy, make sure you have a complete list of which derivatives you want to emulate, some ICEs cost a fortune per device, for others it is quite nominal what adding an additional derivative will cost you. some vendors: Ceibo, Metalink, Nohau, Acqura ...
