I have used rom emulators in the past and i found them difficult. ICE is the way to go, I prefer Signum but Nahoua, Ceibo. Ceibo has lots of affordable stuff. I have seen SiLabs Chip that was setup to replace a Basic Stamp. I am sure someone makes Silabs board that plugs into a standard 40pin 8051 Dip.
EBAY is great a place to buy used ICEs. |
