(I'm a foreigner so my English might not be clear or concise! hope you don't mind my English.) Your English is very good! There is no need to worry about not being concise! Far too many posters go the extreme of being so "concise" as to be unreadable, and give insufficient information to even guess at the problem! this is my first time using seeprom. As Jon suggests, you need to start by writing a simple application that just reads and writes the EEPROM. Once you have that working, you can move on to integrating it with the rest of your code. As Jon says, a link to the EEPROM datasheet would help. Also, you mention Fairchild's app note 957 - a link to that would also help. Atmel also has an Application Note "Interfacing AT24CXX Serial EEPROMs with AT89CX051 MCU" (with assembler source code) that might be of help: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resou...oc0507.pdf http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resou...t24cxx.exe |
