if it is posible to use a potentionmeter or similar devices for input to an 8051/8052 without using of an ADC What do you actually want to achieve with it? What do you consider to be a "similar device"? You understand that the whole point of digital electronics is that everything can only ever be in one of two states? So you can use a potentiometer, and a comparator to determine whether it is greater than or less than some setting. You can connect a variable voltage to a digital input - it will give a '1' when the voltage is in the guaranteed '1' range, a '0' when the voltage is in the guaranteed '0' range, and something indeterminate when it's in between! or adjusting a LED lamination and its color Without using of a DAC IC? I presume you mean adjusting the brightness of a LED? You can use PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) to do this. You cannot adjust the colour of an LED. Howver, some devices contain Red, Green, and Blue LEDs in a single package - you can adjust the overall colour by adjusting the relative brightnesses of the 3 individual colours |
