#118022 - motor rating Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Cheerz Jon, thanks for reply, infact I have read thoroughly jones page as it was one of the top three links came up on googling. On motor data sheet the mentioned voltage is 2.76 and on asking the manufacturer they said it could be operated upto 24VDC and all characteristics explained are on 24VDC. 2.76 is the optimum voltage which for me does not make sense as the motor is supposed to provided high torque for its size i.e. 0.34 N-m. So i am taking manufacturers word and using 24VDC but I am still inclined to use current limiting resistor.
