#118229 - Validating an Idea |
I have to sense 3phase voltage (Y connection, No neutral available) , check if each of the three phases , R,B,Y is beyond a certain range (low or high) and depending on the condition, control some equipment over a RS485 modbus.
I intend to use tranformer between R,B and another one between R,Y, derive some DC voltage and use comparators to make decision. One of these transformers will also give supply to the microcontroller. Is this idea valid? Or is there a simpler way by avoiding transformer? Can't compromise with isolation. KG |
