#11867 - RE: Remote control with HT-12E/D
Hi Albano,

Is your camera a video or the still one.

The basic problem is of developing a suitable a protocol of communication.

Why don't you use an FSK modem over RF link. This will allow two way communication and will let you have feed back from the camera as well.

Anyway the HT12D/E link also is not that slow one for this kind of application. Its fairly fast to shoot the right object at right time.

Are you using absolute encoders for positioning at the servo end ??

Your problem of "How often you need to change the data" is still not understood.

See when you power up the HT12D/E it starts sending the data at the data pins serially and continuously with a time gap and sync in between two serial packages.

You can check on a scope what is the code repetition from this chip.

Every time you want a different action then simply change the data and press the power button.

To allow a better solution, let us know further about speed and direction.

Simon
