You select which block of 256 bytes that are going to be addressed by setting or resetting the 2nd bit in the device select command (it's in the data sheet). When you reach 0FFh in the first block your software must then select the 2nd block by changing the 2nd bit in the device select byte. There is no automatic switching from block 0 to block one, you have to do it.
