#119777 - so, you have an ICE, great
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I see it on the Watch window and on the peripheral window

Disable all sleep activation

FIRST run the uC for 5 seconds, then stop (CTL/BRK or whatever your ICE uses).

verify the stop is in the main not somewhere else.

check port config in the ICE at the stop.

If EA, EKBI, KBCON.0 all are set, the ISR should activate.

DO NOT assume anything, verify every bit read in the ICE by the UG or datasheet

If that does not help, post all the above as you read it in the ICE.

Judge by the ICE display of P0 that the keys 'get in'

   Port is good!            01/01/70 00:00
whay do you not do as suggested?            01/01/70 00:00
         I did it            01/01/70 00:00
below you talk about a 'stuck' interrupt            01/01/70 00:00
   More details.            01/01/70 00:00
I have never used KBI, it serves no purp            01/01/70 00:00
         That's my case!            01/01/70 00:00
you posted that interrupt DOES occur:            01/01/70 00:00
Do not get confused            01/01/70 00:00
                  continuing            01/01/70 00:00
                     EA is set            01/01/70 00:00
so, you have an ICE, great            01/01/70 00:00
ICE could affect KBI            01/01/70 00:00
How is your P0 set up            01/01/70 00:00
                                 forget it            01/01/70 00:00
                                    ICE?            01/01/70 00:00
                                       In Circuit Emulator            01/01/70 00:00
                                          ICE            01/01/70 00:00
maybe it is ( to some extent?)            01/01/70 00:00
                                                Yes            01/01/70 00:00
Ok an emulator, (E) not an ICE            01/01/70 00:00
as usual - divide and conquer            01/01/70 00:00
                           Back on track            01/01/70 00:00
you need to change something in the ISR            01/01/70 00:00
