#119782 - forget it
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I have the uvsion 3 full version compiler and debugger.

No, NO, NO, DO NOT judge ANYTHING based on a simulator.

the best a simulator can do is get you close, it will never get you 'there'. just visualize how many permutations of the '51 there is and a poor little piece of software trying to handle all possible uses of all of them.

That a simulator show that it works, makes it likely that it will work. That simulator show that it does not work, makes it likely that it will not work.

If it works with a true</b. ICE it works, period! and vv.

If you do not have an ICE, do the above tests with port pins and a scope.
