#120328 - LPC9XX Slave I2C Addr always 0xEE
Hi there

Has anyone seen this before?
I am using an LPC925 in I2C slave mode and no matter what i set the I2ADR to it only ever responds to address 0xEE.

I have a PDS900 emulator and when I use this in place of the real micro, I have no problem, it responds to what ever address I set i2adr to.

I thought that it may be hardware. as well but I can talk to a PCF8574 no worries (Philips i2c IO expansion)

My situation is as follows

I have an LPC925 as a master, talking to another LPC925 as a slave. I wanted to program the slave one to act as an IO expansion chip (with counter) so nothing fancy here. it is weird that the master can talk to the PCF9574 and to the Emulator on the correct addresses, just not when I actually program the micro.

I have tried everything that I can think of.

I am using the Code Architect example code almost verbatim.

I can't find anything on the Philips web site or any where else.

Thanks for any ideas

Regards

Marshall
