#120563 - AT89S8253 supervisor worse than R/C ???
I'm replacing the 8252 with the 8253 in an existing low-power design.
with the AT89S8252 and a EM6324 supervisor the consumption is about 11uA at 5.5V during sleep. (AT89S8252 w-o supervisor 6uA)

AT89S8253 has a buil-in POR and BOD wow! sounds good!!
8253 alone 10.4uA (all values are measured, datasheet just says max 100uA !)

But now the bad: the supervisor does not reset the uP with very slow voltage ramps. The datasheet says very little about the BOD POR and when I understand the graph, the uP is allowed to run below the 2.7V operating range!!

Has anybody experience with this internal supervisor, or a decent explanation (can the supervisor be disabled like in the PICs?)
