not this, but internal voltage monitors (using the proper term for this part of supervisory action) vary from the ultimate CRAP to very good. I do not know how this one is used, but the most hilarious/sad (pick your preference) case was when Cygnal (yes, those days) recommending "'decoupling' the reset pin to minimize noise" effectively converting their very good voltage monitor to a RC reset. If ANY capacitor is involved, then ANY reset will have problems with "very slow voltage ramps". My guess is that you have (maybe as recommended) a capacitor on the reset since I see no other way to make the voltage monitor ramp senitive. Erik |
