Ashwin, since the machine cycle for your system are >1uS, the setup and hold times for the lcd are virtually guaranteed. Note, that if you use a faster cpu or clock rate that you need to add extra delays around the setb EN, clr EN. Have you solved your problem? 4bit mode is a bit tricky at first, but follow the datasheet and you should have success. Most of my stuff uses 4bit mode and I have no problems. |
