#120717 - In the case of a generic 805x, Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Ali,
In the case of a generic 805x derivative, there is nothing specified in the hardware that will force the µ-Controller to respond to any particular logical state on a general purpose port pin. In other words, no. You can not force the µ-controller to respond by pulling a port pin low externally, in the general case. However, there are some specific cases where it's possible. Read the tutorials on this web site paying particular attention to the sections on timers and serial communications. When properly configured, there are certain port pins that do just what you're asking about. Good luck, Joe. |
