As your project uses a light bulb as the load ,and you are using a non zero crossing sensing opto isolator...it may be worth entending you project to include dimming via mains phase sensing and a phase angle delay routine. You may find that your circuit creates EMI when turning on as its not synched to the zero crossing...although you could change to a zero crossing opto isolator if EMI is an issue and you do not need dimming. Personally...I would also snub the opto isolator incase the supply has inductive influences (as per most optp data sheets) Rob |
