But reading the datasheet is very much recommended too.
not recommened, but REQUIRED. Config and config2 are of such complexity that I have yet to see one instance without an error or two. No blame on SILabs, just try to think through "possible combinations". If you can not check the result of config(2) you WILL be lost. Maarten, the above nonwithstanding, how can you even use such a 'weak' verb re the read of the datasheet. You are in effect saying, it is not needed to read the datasheet, we here at 8052.com will do it for you. Erik |
