#121232 - Way to create PDF from OrCAD SDT Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Richard,
I am glad to read that even you are using OrCAD SDT...Well you are not alone, even I use it...even today!!! Here is(was) my method to Create PDF File out of Orcad SDT. Complete the Design in SDT. 1.Configure Orcad "PL: Plotter Driver" to PSCRIPT.DRV" 2.Give the command "PLOTALL FileName.sch FileName.000" 3.A file will be created with a name "FileName.000" 4.Rename this File to "FileName.PS" This is a Postscript file. Now you can use any of the utilities that can convert this *.PS File to *.PDF. The above method might seem to be Long and tedious, but you can generate a Batch File to do the above; and in one single command from the "Good Old DOS Prompt" your *.PS File is ready. My preference was to use the CorelDraw...import *.PS File in CorelDRAW, and File->"Publish to PDF"....My PDF File is Ready. Now I use Orcad 7. With a utility (link) I posted, I can get a PDF File directly without any conversion utilities. Just Select the PDF Creator as the default printer. Happy "Creating PDFs"... With best regards from, Kiran V Sutar |
