There is a difference between machine cycles and clock cycles,the standard 8052 takes 12 clock cycles per machine cycle,newer versions take 4 or 1 clock cycle per machine cycle.looking in the tutorials section you'll see that jnb takes 2 machine cycles.Some variants based on pipelined designs can complete most instructions in one machine cycle. |
