#122998 - Confirmation of Compatibility |
Hi there,
I started a thread in January of this year about VisISP-52 and compatibility with the Atmel AT89S8252. Since that thread has been locked, I am starting this new thread for a related question. Seeing that the AT89S8252 has been discontinued and I can no longer get them, I would like to move onto the AT89S8253 (which, I beleive, has replaced the AT89S8252). I am looking for confirmation that I will be able to program the AT89S8253 using VisISP-52 and the 8052.com SBC ISP circuit (as shown elsewhere on this website) without any modification. Can I just substitute the AT89S8252 directly with the AT89S8253 without having to change anything else (besides settings in the software, of course)? Thanks Warren |
