#123024 - Yes but .. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Despite erics bee he keeps in his bonnet about atmel programers which he whips out on a regular basis I have to say that I have heard exactly the same argument about other programmers, especialy xilinx and atmel jtag cables I would say that if you want to buy the officail product thats fine but the unofficail products, which dont cost 50 quid for a '244 buffer and 7 resistors work well enough unless you have massive numbers of devices to program.Given the choice between something which atmel and altera and other companies want to sell you for 50 quid and something which works most of the time and might require some magic swear words to get it going in the morning I know which I would choose. |
