If you access one of those addresses with direct addressing, you are accessing the SFR circuits. If you access one of those addresses with indirect addressing, you are accessing the memory circuits. A further point of possible confusion is that this applies only to the upper 128 addresses (0x80-0xFF); For the lower 128 addresses (0x00-0x7F), both direct & indirect addressing access the memory circuits! Again, see the diagram referenced earlier. |
