On some of the 51/52 peculiarities: http://www.efton.sk/wiki/SW model.html . Note, that stack operations are implicitly indirect, using SP as the third(first two are R1 and R0) indirect pointer. The indirect RAM space above 80h in 8052 has good use as stack. Russell: SP is initialised to 7 not 8, as SP is incremented prior storing in push. JW |
