In Pune, there's I2IT(http://www.isquareit.ac.in/). This is an initiative by the Finolex Group. They have a wonderful campus at Hinjewadi, Pune. They have a course in Advance Embedded Systems design the course details of which are:
http://www.isquareit.ac.in/PDF/web%20pdfs/AESD.pdf Their courseware is up to date, and I believe that you should concentrate on that more than placements. Your placement is bound to be good, if your knowledge is good. MS Ramaiah College is having a good course at Bangalore (as Mr Thakur had mentioned), but I'd recommend I2IT. The fees are a little steep, but then I'd say its a good investment! All the best! And remember - the road is more important than the destination!
