#126833 - Mostly Courses are only wastage of time and money" Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Dear Friends
I want to give some points which may help you in taking right decision for joining short term courses and common road map for self learning. 1- If you really wants to learn then only self study is best solution. 2- Please evaluate your knowledege and capability your self. 3- Mostly after completing engineering graduation, people will face problem to get right placement due to lack of knowledge, 4- If you want good placement then you must have knowledege which meets the requirement of industry.Certainly it is not very difficult but honestly identify and acknowledge your weaknessess. 5- Start from scratch, learn basic electronics, build up confidence. you can seriously read book electronics principle by malvino. It will help you in designing and analysis of hardware. 6-Read application notes available with semiconductor manufacturer i.e national semiconductor,Texas Instrument,Phillips,Infenion etc 7- For using micro controller, first you should read hardware details of 8051,available with Intel,Atmel,Phillips and also on 8052.com 8- Read instruction set and try to use it by writing small programs. 9- Read tutorials available at 8052.com 10-Analyse example programs 11-To start your real life application development you must have a P.C,,programmer,assembler,compiler. 12- Design your application requirement on paper, make circuit diagram, design your own PCB by using DOS based easytrax(Protel)PCB layout program, make PCB,assemble it,test hardware connections. 13- Burn your code in MCU code memory, run it,debug your code, make corrections,re burn code in MCU, 14- Your first application will be ready 15- it will build up your confidence 16- if you face any problem, put it in forum, but keep in mind, use forum in right way,you will always find solution here. It is my belief that anybody can learn embedded controller based application development within a year time by doing self study and efforts. I am inviting comments from fellow forum members about our thought. |
