I hate also all abbreviations, which not can be found in the dictionary.
But I think it's a too hard job for the moderator to check any posting. And I assume, it can't be done automatically. Anybody, which want to use such abbreviations must accept, that most of these postings ignored, if it not can be read and translated easily !!! To save 10msec for a key click was absolutely not worth thinking minutes about its meaning, by the people, which was willing to help. He give up ! A good example was Lance posting. I know absolutely not what he want. I assume, this was, what he want to tell and there is no real meaning behind it. By the way, what means "cold fish" or "John Doe" ? Peter |
