Talking of Heinsenburg,when you pin down an electrons position to any degree of accuracy the momentum probabilty is related by a Fourier transform so... as the location probabilty becomes square wave like because you know where the thing is the velocity probabilty is the fourier transform of the location probability so it becomes more and more distributed.,t'othr way round as well of course...
Well I thought it was interesting that fourier transforms should turn up in quantum mechanics.
