#125335 - Silabs USB Debug Adaptor |
I currently have a Cygnal C8051F020 development kit (with IDE V1.82 ) which came with a EC2 serial port adaptor.
However I was having lots of issues using it with my laptop as it had no serial port and the Prolific USB-RS232 convertor was a mess most of the time. Based on suggestions from this forum, I now realize that all Silab development kits come with a USB Debug adaptor. Question is : Can I just buy a USB debug adaptor ( available as spare ) and use it in place of EC2 adaptor ? I already have downloaded the new IDE V 2.72. Thanks Raghu |
