#125850 - Safety first Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hello Arif
As you of course know, 230V mains can be dangerous for both you and the electronics health. You could use a optocoupler to isoloate your mains from the electronics - CNY17 comes to mind. Its cheap, its low current - a few mA should do, and its available in a larger footprint, so you dont violate creepage distance. Remember, that a std. SFR25 resistor dosnt accept more than aprox. 100 V across it. To be safe you will have to use at least two in series! Also remember to keep one hand in your pocket, when working with mainspowered circuits. Ha' en god og sikker dag Per |
