#12683 - RE: How to connect 8052 to server via modem |
Dear Mr. Narin Siritaranukul,
Can your faraway server via modem, be set up to emulate a dumb terminal such as a Wyse 60 CRT? Should you be able to do this you can program a 8052 to log on just like a person would do and pass information maybe via file using the xmodem protocol. Setting up a modem using a 8051 type device is not to hard. An example of such a device can be found at "http://members.aol.com/cpu8052". Good Luck Charles Bannister |
