What you have with the Silabs' micro is an "internal oscillator" (which has nothing to do with crystals at all) and a built-in oscillator circuitry, which in combination with an external crystal forms a crystal oscillator (Pierce oscillator). But when you talk about the "internal crystal oscillator", especially if you plan to leave the XTAL pins unconnected, this makes no sense at all. Kai |
