there are two valid approaches to customer download of updated code what I mention here do not work if you a scared out of your wits that someone my steal your code. I, personally, consider the value to someone else of object code zero.
1) have customers install FLIP and send them a file. 2) add a custom bootloader to your code and send them a file. you DO have an UART and an ISP chip on the board why send chips? re your original problem: I have no idea what Juergens toolset does, but any compiler I have worked with has required that some/a file(s) need be included in the link, could that be the problem.
