Morning back at ya (it's darn early in OK)
I like using CJNE for comparisons for two reasons: It does not alter the original value (allowing further use of it) and it makes it clear that you are comparing, not trying to do some arithmetic. Now, there are cases where I would use sub such as clr c subb a,#'0' jc Not_Numeric this both start the modification to binary and compares in one sweep. Agreed there are many ways to skin a cat, but PLEASE make sure it is dead before you try :) Erik |
