#128402 - Request for suggestion |
hi friends,
i m working on a project thats a data logger. while working as online, for every second it will send i/p data to the pc through UART.... and i have completed this part successfully.... Now the difficulty is, when the instrument is selected to work as ofline, the data should be written in a memory... this memory size should be more than 2MB. i m confused of what type of memory to use.... So please give me suggestions what can i do... there are some USB Pendrives available in market.. should i use it ? if yes, how can it be interfaced? i m very new to usb.. where can i get its protocol etc...? i have experience in interfacing through I2C, SPI, UART... i came to know there are some SRAM availabe having size upto 64Mb.. but those required parallel interface.. i have a UART free, & A 4 port pins free for SPI... i can arrange a SMBUS also if required... Please suggest me some solution...... thanks..... best regards, Anita, Pune.. |
